With housemates forced to announce their nominations to the rest of the group, Darnell and Sara reflected their mutual animosity by choosing to nominate each other for the public vote.
Chatting before bedtime, Darnell told Sara that in spite of "all that shit, you were the kind of friend I wanted to make".
Sara pinpointed Darnell's "paranoia" as a problem, but said that she would "love to keep on these nice, talking terms".
She also reassured Darnell that she'd "never once slagged you off".
Darnell said he needed to see Sara's support "in the house, where it counts" and not in the Diary Room. He went on to explain that he felt his own "insecurities" and state of mind in the house were "just reasons" for his behaviour.
However, rather than being drawn into discussing Darnell's problems, Sara said it would be best for the pair to "keep this little friendship going, then sort it out on the outside".
