The original song and video are much better than the new one

i kinda prefer the original but the new one i think is better for UK audiences. They'll like the fashion more!

loving both versions - just hoping the PWL remix will be released too!

The new version is awesome. I had never heard the orginal before now, and it's too slow and a bit joyless. This one is much more fun and cheerful. It's like proper 70's disco with a twist.
Chris, Bristol on July 19th, 2008
The original video and song were much better. This new one sounds more like a Kylie track from the early 90's. Another time when I will be buying the European version of an Album.

I love Alphabeat, and I love this song. Much prefer the new version altho I quite like the quirky older video...

Prefer the original video, but the more upbeat version of the song, which is also the version they used when they played in Manchester last month.
Shaz, London on July 19th, 2008
The old one is soooo much better: video and song!
Chris, Brum on July 19th, 2008
Prefer original of both. Why has it been re-produced for the UK?? And 10,000 Nights did not perform badly in the charts....in fact its still in there!
Yasmin, London on July 19th, 2008
i love this song and im ust be mad but i can't hear the difference between the two songs. am i mad?

I really like the album (orignal) version only because of the pre-programmed keyboard backing on the single version. Both videos are cool though, the original has a really cute home made feel. Such a tune and band, really hoping it does well.

Never liked the original found it a bit depressing , but this new version it so good have it on repeat, and totally agree that 10,000 nights should have done just as well as fascination

To me the new version seems like a definite improvement. The song has more life, feels more cogent and coherant and has a more interesting structure as well as better production. I also prefer the new video.
